A giant renewal affirmed that the success of Downtown’s eastern side isn’t limited to the World Trade Center and Brookfield Place.
Cleary Gottlieb renewed on 475,000 square feet at Brookfield Properties’ One Liberty for 20 more years. The law firm is the largest tenant in the 2.3 million square-foot tower on Broadway that was previously known as One Liberty Plaza.
The building is more than 80% taken and leases are said to be out on 300,000 more square feet.
Newmark’s Moshe Sukenik and Brian Cohen repped Cleary. The landlord was repped by Newmark’s
Brian Cohen and Cushman & Wakefield’s Mark Weiss and Josh Kuriloff. Brookfield was repped in-house by Mikael Nahmias and Dan Roberts.
