Kylie Kelce is sharing more insight into how her and Jason Kelce‘s daughters have bonded with their aunt Taylor Swift.
“I grew up with cats,” Kylie, 34, said on the Thursday, August 20, episode of her “Not Gonna Lie” podcast. “I grew up in a cat-dog house. Both at all times. And now our kids have influences in their life — Aunt Taylor is a big one — where they get to be around cats.”
Kylie continued, “And then we go home and there are no cats, and they’re like, ‘But we want cats.’ … I’m like, ‘Jason, I need you to lock in here. There is cat need in this house.’”
Jason, 38, and Kylie share four daughters: Wyatt, 6, Ellie, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 16 months.
Swift, 36, has three cats — Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button — who are almost as beloved by her fans as the pop star herself. Kylie, meanwhile, has been trying to convince her husband to change his mind about getting a cat in an ongoing bit on both of their podcasts.
The Grammy winner began dating Jason’s brother, Travis Kelce, in 2023. The couple tied the knot last month in New York City, but Kylie has stayed relatively tight-lipped about the wedding festivities.
“I would like to say congratulations to Tay and Trav, it was magical,” she said on the July 23 episode of her podcast. “I’m so happy for them, [and I] love them so, so dearly. It was only making it official because Taylor’s been family now for quite some time, so that’s that.”
She added, “Anything else you can check in with Taylor and Travis about because any of the details they want to share, they can share. Otherwise, it was intimate and incredible and full of love — both for each other and everybody else’s love for them.”
While the newlyweds have yet to share photos from their special day, Travis, 36, gushed over his “fun” summer as he kicked off NFL training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Wedding was the best night of my life,” he said on August 12. “I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us. That’s about all I really got from that night. It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.”
The couple opted against having bridesmaids and groomsmen for their star-studded bash at Madison Square Garden. One tradition they didn’t skip out on, however, was flower girls — with Kylie and Jason’s daughters stealing the show.
“It was a special event for our entire family, and obviously my daughters are incredible,” Jason told the Reno Gazette Journal last month. “They’re beautiful, they’re incredible personalities. And Travis and Taylor love them.”
