Travis Kelce has confirmed that he and wife Taylor Swift are now proud dog parents!
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, stars in a new Tommy Hilfiger fashion campaign, first shared by Vogue on Tuesday, September 1, alongside an adorable costar: his and Swift’s fluffy white Samoyed.
The Vogue piece noted that the “Hilfiger creative team had been talking about casting a canine for the campaign when Kelce volunteered the one that he shares with Taylor Swift.”
“We figured, why not her? She crushed it and actually really fit into that Tommy aesthetic, too,” Kelce gushed to the magazine of his dog’s photo shoot debut. “Those are some of my favorite shots.”
The “New Heights” podcast host didn’t reveal the pet’s name but further enthused over the new addition, “She lights up my day.” (Forbes reported on Tuesday that the dog is called Wendy.)
Swifties began speculating whether the Grammy winner, also 36, and Kelce had quietly become dog parents after they were spotted touching down at the President Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida, on July 12 with a four-legged companion.
Swift and Kelce tied the knot in a star-studded wedding ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3 after three years of dating.
As well as their pet dog, Swift is also a cat mom to three felines: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button.
During her August 2025 appearance on Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, Swift shared how she integrated her cats into the extended Swift-Kelce family, specifically with brother-in-law Jason Kelce’s four daughters.
The “Fate of Ophelia” singer noted that Jason, 38, had told his girls — Wyatt, 6, Ellliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finnley, 17 months — that cats were poisonous, which she was quick to dispel.
“It was actually really a great challenge because as soon as I got the kids around the cats, it was my goal to prove to them that they weren’t poisonous,” she said. “And there’s no better way to prove that than to just hand them Benjamin, my ragdoll cat, who lets humans hold him like he’s a baby.”
“My favorite thing ever is when Bennie will come up to me and just go, ‘I find Benjamin, I find him.’ And she’s just over there laying with him and petting him and holding him,” Swift shared at the time.
“The cats are so good with kids,” she added. “They’re just like, ‘Meredith is here!’ I’m like, ‘And you know what? She didn’t bite you at all, did she? And if she did bite you, she wouldn’t be poisonous.’ They’re like, ‘That’s not what our dad said.’”
