Don’t expect to see Lamar Jackson in Atlanta on “Sunday Night Football.”
The star Ravens quarterback could miss multiple games with an ankle injury he suffered Sunday in Baltimore’s 24-18 victory over the Titans, with NFL Network reporting Tuesday morning that Jackson is unlikely to play in Week 5.
After visiting the Falcons, the Ravens visit the division-rival Browns on Oct. 18 and host the Bengals on Oct. 25.
Tyler “Snoop” Huntley would start for the Ravens assuming Jackson can’t go due to the ankle sprain.
Jackson, 29, was slated to undergo an MRI on Monday and it sounds like the results weren’t what the Ravens had hoped if they were going to get him on the field on Sunday.
With the two-time MVP looking on the wrong side of questionable at best, Sunday will be a tough spot for the Ravens, especially since the Falcons just dismantled the Saints on “Monday Night Football.”
