Brandon Aiyuk will be at the 49ers’ team facility at 3 p.m. Friday.

His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, confirmed the report with a statement sent via text message to NFL insider Adam Schefter.

“We will be there tomorrow at 3pm to meet with the team at the facility,” Rosenhaus texted Schefter. “We will put our best foot forward and go from there.”

Aiyuk has been absent from the team for more than a year and last suited up for San Francisco in a Week 7 matchup against the Chiefs in October 2024. The estranged wide receiver took to social media to express his dissatisfaction with the 49ers during the offseason and ultimately blamed the team for his absence.

But after spending the start of the season on the Reserve/Left Squad list, Aiyuk is making a push to return to the NFL. The 49ers have several options in terms of the situation.

San Francisco can welcome Aiyuk back to the team though that seems unlikely given the history between both parties. The 49ers can also release the receiver or trade him.

It is important to note that Aiyuk has an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Northern California, which could hinder his efforts in returning to the 49ers. However, the details into the saga will be revealed Friday when the 28-year-old and his agent arrive at the team facility.
