San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has looked like a superhero on the field this season.
Off the field, he’s just another dad that struggles to change his daughter’s diaper.
Purdy said as much when he was asked how fast he was the first time he changed a diaper compared to now during a recent appearance on the 49ers’ “You Got Mail” podcast last week.
“Yeah, it took me a while. Just all like the little Velcro straps and stuff. You know, Jenna’s like, ‘Let me see it.’ Boom, boom, boom. She does it in two seconds. For me, it took me a little while, but I got the hang of it,” Purdy said.
“As Millie has gotten older, the tough part is she has to be in the mood to get her diaper changed. And if she’s not, she’s rolling around, and I’m like trying to pin her down, and, wipe and all that stuff. And I’m like, ‘Jenna, how do you do this?’” he added.
Purdy and his wife, Jenna, are expecting their second child after having their first daughter, Millie, in July of 2025.
While a second child may put the 49ers’ quarterback diaper-changing abilities to the test, Purdy has shown he is skilled at adjusting on the fly.
