Chipotle is bringing back one of their best-selling limited-time offerings.
The fast-casual restaurant chain announced the return of Chipotle Honey Chicken, which debuted last year in 2025.
Starting April 28, the beloved protein can be ordered across all restaurants in the US, Canada and the U.K.
After its initial debut, Chipotle Honey Chicken drove record demand and delivered the highest order rates of any limited-time offering in Chipotle’s history, quickly becoming a fan favorite, the company said.
Chipotle Honey Chicken is made with freshly grilled chicken, marinated with smoky chipotle peppers and finished with a touch of pure honey, delivering a smoky and subtly sweet flavor.
“Chipotle Honey Chicken set a new standard for our limited-time offerings, and guests started asking for it back almost immediately,” Stephanie Perdue, Interim Chief Marketing Officer at Chipotle, said in a statement.
“It’s proof that when we get flavor and timing right, we create something fans can’t stop thinking about.”
The flavored chicken sits at the center of the “swicy” food trend where sweet meets spicy with its two signature ingredients, chipotle peppers and honey.
Chipotle’s best-performing limited-time offering will also be available in in Chipotle’s High Protein Cup for the first time, giving guests a protein-forward way to customize their order.
The transition to Chipotle Honey Chicken for the chain’s limited-time offering means that Chicken al Pastor will be leaving the menu, though this marks the first time Chipotle has introduced back-to-back limited-time protein options.
To celebrate the return, Chipotle is offering a $0 delivery fee on Chipotle Honey Chicken orders placed through the app or website from April 28 through May 11.
For customers trying the Chipotle Honey Chicken for the first time, Chipotle’s Senior Vice President of Culinary Nevielle Panthaky recommends ordering a Chipotle Honey Chicken bowl with white rice, black beans, light chili-corn salsa and guac.
