Forget the face — the latest frontier when it comes to body modifications in Hollywood is happening down under.
Marcela Iglesias, the self-proclaimed “human Barbie,” is preparing for her latest cosmetic transformation: a designer vagina makeover that will use donor-derived tissue, commonly known as cadaver fat.
The Argentinian reality TV personality told The California Post she plans to undergo the cutting-edge procedure in Beverly Hills this summer under the care of plastic surgeon Dr. Ariel Ourian.
The Calabasas-based bombshell is no stranger to pushing cosmetic boundaries, and just last year received a blood transfusion to fight aging with her son’s blood.
But for her upcoming aesthetic overhaul, she is turning back the clock on her most intimate area with a combination of a labiaplasty, a clitoral hood reduction, and of course, the highly specialized fat transfer.
“The same way we lose volume on the face with the years, we lose volume down there on the lips,” Iglesias told The Post. “I wanted it to look a little more plump and youthful. This is basically a facelift for the vagina.”
While a traditional labiaplasty reshapes the area, Iglesias’s procedure is uniquely unusual because it involves injecting tissue harvested from deceased donors.
The cosmetic upgrade quickly turned into a functional enhancement during her consultation at Dr. Ourian’s Bedford Drive clinic, when he suggested adding a clitoral hood reduction to the ticket.
“I asked, ‘Why do I need that?’ and he told me, ‘Well, more sensation,’” Iglesias recalled with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘Really? Wow, let’s go!’ It’s not a need, it’s a want. A lot of women don’t even put a mirror down there to see how their parts look. Why not build the best version of yourself?”
The procedure is expected to take place in early July and could cost between $25,000 and $30,000, according to Iglesias.
She hopes to avoid general anesthesia and instead undergo the procedure with local anesthesia. Recovery is expected to take roughly two weeks.
Iglesias moved to Los Angeles from Buenos Aires 26 years ago because she thought “everyone looked like the Baywatch people.” She waited until her son turned 21 before undergoing her first major surgery in 2022 with Dr. Ourian, which was a Baywatch-inspired breast augmentation to achieve a classic “Pamela Anderson look.”
Over the years, she has made headlines for a string of unconventional treatments, including a so-called “spider butt lift” using PDO threads, leech therapy, stem cell infusions and even drinking live insects as part of an alternative wellness regimen.
Despite her reputation, Iglesias does not embrace extreme cosmetic procedures.
“For me, extreme is removing ribs or changing your bone structure,” she said. “That’s not something I would do. I’ve seen the good, the bad and the ugly.”
“We have the chance to look good, feel better about ourselves, and maintain our appearance,” Iglesias said. “So, why not?”
