Congratulations are in order for Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente, who are expecting their first baby together.
Bündchen, 44, also shares son Benjamin, 14, and daughter, Vivian, 11, with ex-husband Tom Brady. She’s been dating the Jiu-Jitsu instructor since 2023.
Although it’s been over a decade since the former supermodel was carrying, a look back at her maternity looks for her eldest kids reveals that neither her style nor her shape has shifted dramatically in the last 12 years.
This is no doubt in large part thanks to her wardrobe’s timeless appeal. Her personal aesthetic exudes a certain Lily van der Woodsen brand of energy that women everywhere continue to emulate today as much as they did the first time around.
Bündchen also famously never wore maternity clothes. In fact, she credits kung-fu, among other things, for helping her keep her enviable figure while pregnant.
“I kept myself in good shape throughout the pregnancy, feeding on a healthy diet, meditating and doing exercises such as yoga and kung-fu,” she told Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo Veja (as translated by New York magazine). “I gained a little, but I kept using almost the same clothes, with minor adjustments to close in the belly.”

And it seems that for her third pregnancy, Bündchen is using the same sartorial formula of non-maternity maternity clothes. Days after her pregnancy news broke in October 2024, she ran errands in Miami while wearing a casual yet chic wrap dress that flattered her figure. An oversized Naghedi bag also helped balance out a growing bump as well as camouflaged her shape from the paparazzi.
