A rematch of the 2014 Super Bowl is upon us.
Tonight, Sam Darnold’s Seattle Seahawks visit Bo Nix’s Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High for a high-stakes Week 6 Thursday Night Football clash that will determine which 3-2 team improves to 4-2 and which drops to .500.
Coming into this matchup, Denver is riding high after a 23-17 win over their AFC West rival, the Los Angeles Chargers, to send the cellar dwellers to 0-5 on the year.

However, that victory came with strings attached. Head coach Sean Payton stripped offensive coordinator Davis Webb’s playcalling dutues since the club is floundering offensively.
“It’s successful with a win, that’s all that matters,” Broncos tackle Mike McGlinchey said. “We got one in the W column, no matter what’s happening.”
When they take the field tonight, they’ll be at a bit of a disadvantage. Oddsmakers consider Seattle to be 2.5-point favorites thanks to their elite defense.
Expect a battle…that will hopefully be closer than the 2014 Super Bowl (which Seattle won 43-8).
