After yet another crushing loss in Week 8 to the New England Patriots, the New York Jets are once again in some disarray heading into a new week of football. This time, it’s the question of who will start as kicker in tonight’s game.
After a series of mishaps, including a missed extra point that proved crucial to the game’s final score, Greg Zuerlein was already on thin ice, with reports that the Jets planned on holding kicker tryouts this week. Yesterday, the team signed two new kickers, Riley Patterson and Spencer Shrader, in addition to placing Zuerlein on IR.
