NFL Network personality Jamie Erdahl received a warm welcome as she returned to “Good Morning Football” on Monday after taking time off due to a “tragic health situation” of an immediate family member.
Erdahl was all smiles while her co-host, Kyle Brandt, shared a heartfelt message at the top of the show.
“It’s fantastic to see your face here on JMFB, Jamie Morning Football,” Brandt joked.
“We’ve missed you, we love that you’re here. Nothing has changed in the NFL it’s no big deal, there’s been nothing weird, there’s been nothing exciting. You missed nothing — you missed a lot Jamie!”
Erdahl was all smiles as she thanked Brandt, fellow co-host Manti Teʻo, and NFL Network analyst Willie Colon, who appeared on the show on Monday.
“Great to have you back @JamieErdahl,” the official “GMFB” X account wrote, including a clip of the moment.
Erdahl shared a photo of a flower display, writing, “Hard days filled in with light and love,” in an Instagram Story post this past weekend.
The NFL Network personality shared last week that she had been absent from the airwaves in recent weeks due to a personal family tragedy.
“Since curiosity is mounting I’ll share what I feel comfortable with: I have been away from @GMFB due to an extremely personal + tragic health situation of an immediate family member,” Erdahl wrote on social media on Wednesday. “I want to thank my leaders at the NFL for allowing me this time at home. I’ll be back on Monday.”
