This is one Masters souvenir not found in Augusta National’s famed gift shop.
One patron was on the receiving end of an unfortunate collision with Jordan Spieth’s club Sunday during the final round of the 2025 Masters.
In now-viral footage from the major, Spieth — the 2015 Masters champion who tied for 14th in this year’s tournament at 3-under — could be seen fist-bumping an individual before part of the club swings toward the spectator’s lower region.
Warning: Graphic language
As the clip of the incident circulated on social media, fans were buzzing about whether Spieth, 31, knew the patron in question, with some speculating if it was a member of his team.
“Does he know that guy !?” one Instagram user commented on Zire Golf’s page.
“Yep, that’s his manager/agent though,” another posted.
It’s unclear who the individual is as their back was turned toward the camera.
Although this moment drew plenty of eyeballs online, Spieth made waves elsewhere this weekend for suggesting there’s some censorship at Augusta.
“My iron play killed me the last two days and to be brutally honest with you, it was primarily mud balls,” the three-time major winner said after he shot a 3-under 69 in Saturday’s third round.
“It’s just so frustrating because you can’t talk about them here. You’re not supposed to talk about them.”
This year’s tournament marked Spieth’s 12th start at Augusta.
He defeated Phil Mickelson and this year’s runner-up, Justin Rose, a decade ago to win his first green jacket.
Spieth now needs a PGA Championship victory to complete golf’s Grand Slam, which peer Rory McIlroy achieved Sunday after topping Rose, 44, in a thrilling one-hole playoff.
The Northern Irishman overcame a rollercoaster final round, which included a missed putt on the par-4 18th to send the tournament into a playoff. McIlroy birdied on the hole to win his first-ever green jacket.
Spieth, currently ranked No. 58 in the world, last won a major in 2017 at The Open.
