A pair of gymnastics stars were on hand for Pirates phenom pitcher Paul Skenes’ first start of the season.
Skenes was Pittsburgh’s Opening Day starter on Thursday during the Pirates’ 5-4 loss to the Marlins in Miami, and that meant LSU gymnastics star Olivia “Livvy” Dunne — who is dating the right-hander — was in the crowd, too.
But she wasn’t alone, being joined by Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman for the ballgame and Xandra Pohl, a budding house DJ and 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie.
Dunne, who was sporting a black Pirates baseball cap, posted several photos to her Instagram story, including a selfie with the two gymnasts and the music artist sitting in their seats smiling.
Also written in the photo was, “Big Paul fans.”
The LSU gymnast and social media influencer posted another photo of Raisman posing alongside Skenes.
“Too much [GOAT] in one photo,” Dunne captioned it while tagging both the star pitcher and the three-time gold medalist.
Thursday was not the first time Dunne and Raisman have appeared in a social media post together.
Back in 2024, Dunne posted a photo with the three-time Olympic gold medalist that was captioned, “Guys … I just touched Aly Raisman again!”
It was a callback to when Dunne was a young girl in 2012 and met the famed gymnast following her successful run at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
Earlier this year, the two posed for a picture together while they were both in New Orleans for the Super Bowl.
Raisman posted a photo on her Instagram of the two celebrating LSU’s SEC gymnastics championship.
As for Skenes, the Pirates pitcher threw 5 ⅓ innings, striking out seven while giving up two runs on three hits and received a no-decision.
He became the fastest No. 1 overall pick to make his first Opening Day start after being taken in the 2023 draft.
