A Venezuelan migrant is accused of sexually assaulting the 14-year-old daughter of his employer in Colorado while living in the basement of his home, police and reports say. Jesus Alberto Pereira Castillo had crossed into the U.S. illegally in El Paso, Texas in September 2023 before being released by the Border Patrol, Homeland Security sources told the New York Post. A New York state judge found SiriusXM Holdings liable in New York Attorney General Letitia James’ lawsuit accusing the satellite radio and streaming company of making it too hard for customers to cancel subscriptions. Former Kentucky Sheriff Shawn “Mickey” Stines was indicted Thursday in the shooting death of a judge in his chambers. A Letcher County grand jury indicted Stines on one count of murder of a public official on Thursday, according to a press release from Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman’s office.
