SNY, the sports network that broadcasts Mets games, canceled its shows, “SportsNite” and “Baseball Night in New York” as part of major layoffs on Friday, according to The Athletic.
The network reportedly laid off most of its editorial staff and shut down its website.
SNY will continue to produce its pre- and postgame shows for the Mets and Jets.
The “Mets Hot Stove” show was unaffected, and will continue to air.
Chelsea Janes, Ian Begley and Connor Hughes will remain as in-air contributors with the network.
