Spencer Pratt is teasing “shocking details” about to emerge that will implicate Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Gov. Gavin Newsom in the fallout from the devastating Palisades Fire.
Pratt, whose Pacific Palisades home was destroyed in the wildfire, made the prediction as litigation by fire victims against state and city officials enters the discovery phase.
“We Palisades Fire victims are now in the discovery phase of our lawsuit against the State of CA and the City of LA,” Pratt wrote.
Pratt suggested the next stage of the legal process could reveal damaging information about how officials handled the disaster.
“Over the next weeks, you’ll finally learn shocking details of how badly Karen & Newsom screwed our town, and they haven’t done anything to change,” he wrote. “No more lies!”
Pratt did not specify what information he believes will emerge during discovery, nor did he provide evidence to support his claims in the post.
His comments come as litigation tied to the Palisades Fire moves through the courts, with victims seeking answers and accountability for decisions made before, during and after the blaze.
Pratt has remained one of the most vocal public figures affected by the fire, often using social media to criticize government leaders and agencies for their response to the disaster and its aftermath.
The latest post signals he expects upcoming court proceedings to shed more light on the circumstances surrounding the fire and the actions of public officials.
Neither Bass nor Newsom was directly addressed in the lawsuit update beyond Pratt’s allegations in the social media post.
Pratt lost his run for Mayor of Los Angeles after finishing third in the June 2, 2026, primary election.
As a Republican in a mostly Democratic city, he garnered 25.5% of the vote but did not advance to the November general election.
