Pittsburgh Steelers (+5.5) over PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
The Steelers aren’t getting any respect here.
Despite being 10-3 against the spread (ATS), which is tied with the Broncos for the best record ATS in the league, the Steelers are semi-heavy underdogs at Philly.
Not only is Pittsburgh perfect ATS as an underdog this season, but Mike Tomlin’s club appears to be getting better as the season goes on.
The Steelers have won seven of their past eight games, with their only loss coming in the snow at Cleveland on a Thursday night — hardly the best game to judge a team by.
The Eagles have looked like one of the best teams in football for months now, though they narrowly escaped with a win over the Panthers as a massive favorite last week.
It may be time for a true setback.
CAROLINA PANTHERS (-3) over Dallas Cowboys
Speaking of the Panthers … maybe they aren’t bad.
After wins over the Saints and Giants, Carolina has been in striking distance against three potential playoff teams, losing by one score each to the Eagles, Buccaneers and Chiefs.
Bryce Young suddenly looks like a competent quarterback and Carolina’s defense has been solid.
Betting on the NFL?
After a surprising two straight wins, the Cowboys fell to the Bengals at home Monday, virtually ending their outside playoff chances.
On a short week, the good vibes brought by Cooper Rush over the past few weeks will come to an end for the Cowboys.
LAST WEEK: 1-1. Bills (L), Chargers (W).
SEASON: 4-8.
