After weeks (months?) of waiting, the Jets and Giants put their fans out of their misery Sunday, as the teams combined for one of the worst NFL seasons in New York history.
But a fall and winter that saw the two teams combine to win eight out of 34 games is over and done with and now each team has its own puzzle to solve.
The Jets will have a new general manager and — almost certainly — another head coach soon.
The future of the Giants’ hierarchy isn’t quite as cut and dried, with GM Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll still employed — although they’re both on shaky ground.
