There were so many staggering statistics about how bad the 2025 Jets were, but this one is my favorite: They became the first team ever to play at least 16 games and not have a wide receiver with 400 yards.
Think about that for a minute.
Think about all the bad football teams you have watched through the years — Jets and otherwise. As bad as they were, they at least had a receiver who gained 400 yards. To get 400 yards in a 17-game season, you need to average 23.5 yards per game. Seems like a low bar. But the Jets did not cross it.
Instead, Garrett Wilson, who played just seven games, led the team with 395 yards.
