Travis Barker was in celebration mode for son Landon Barker’s birthday bash following a recent surgery.
Travis, 50, was in attendance for Landon’s party on Saturday, October 10, after being hospitalized days prior and receiving a cubital tunnel release to fix a nerve running through his arm, hand and fingers.
“Nobody likes you when you’re 23,” Landon captioned a series of Instagram photos from the festivities, quoting a line from his dad’s famous Blink-182 hit “What’s My Age Again?”
The first snap showed Travis posing alongside wife, Kourtney Kardashian, and the birthday boy in honor of the “Vampire Ball”-themed party.
Landon rocked a black, leather jacket and matching leather pants to channel his inner vampire.
Travis followed suit with a dark red velvet jacket for the special occasion, while Kardashian, 47, who shares son Rocky, 2, with the musician, donned sexy black lingerie. All three of them had fake blood dripping from their mouths, adding to the spooky ambiance.
Landon also shared a picture with his younger sister, Alabama Barker, and of him blowing out the candles on his devilishly decadent black cake. (Travis shares Landon and Alabama, 20, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler.)
“Love you forever 🖤🏁,” Travis replied in the comments section, toasting the man of the hour.
Travis also praised his son in an Instagram tribute on October 9, writing, “Happy birthday, son. I’m incredibly blessed and grateful to be your dad.”
He added, “I’m so proud of the person you’ve become and deeply honored to call you my son. Keep moving forward with courage, fearlessness, and honor. I love you more than words can express @landonbarker.”
Landon’s birthday celebration marked Travis’ first public outing since he went to the hospital on Tuesday, October 6, for extended numbness on one side.
“My baby girl came with me,” he wrote via his Instagram Stories sharing a selfie in a hospital cap and gown while Alabama sat in a chair next to his bed.
Travis also noted that his “beautiful wife,” whom he wed in 2022, was “by my side” as he was wheeled into surgery.
The “I Miss You” musician gave fans an update on his health the following day, explaining why he had surgery.
“My arm, hand and fingers have been numb since a show I played last month,” Travis shared via his Instagram Stories on October 7. “I did a nerve test Monday after my show and turns out I need a cubital tunnel release to fix a nerve.”
According to Mayo Clinic, a cubital tunnel surgery involves releasing the tight ulnar nerve, commonly referred to as the funny bone, that crosses the elbow.
Travis, for his part, assured his fans that the procedure went well and he was already on the mend.
“I wanted to get ahead of [this injury] and get it over with so that I keep playing the way I play for a long time,” he added. “Should be good in a few weeks.”
