Wendy’s fans are about to go bananas.
Starting June 15, the iconic fast food joint will say “bello” to a brand new Frosty flavor — Banana Frosty Swirl — inspired by the newest Minions movie.
And, it’s already causing a bit of “Minions” mischief.
Just in time for summer, the Banana Frosty Swirl features a sweet banana cream sauce swirled into Wendy’s famous Vanilla Frosty base.
But be fast — the neon yellow goodness is only up for grabs for a limited-time.
Wendy’s is also rolled out the Wendy’s “Minions & Monsters” Adult Meal — because why should kids get all the fun?
Hungry “Despicable Me” lovers can score the following:
- A Big Bacon Classic or the new Spicy Chicken Sandwich
- Small Hot & Crispy Fries
- Small Banana Frosty Swirl
- One of the four “Minions & Monsters” blind box collectibles
To wash down it all down, the burger joint added two new Coca-Cola freestyle drinks.
The two to choose from are the aptly named Pineapple Minion MischieFizz or the Goomi’s Glimey Lime — for those not afraid to wet their whistle.
No, Wendy’s did not forget the kids.
The popular chain already dropped the new Minions & Monsters Kids’ Meal for a little Minions mayhem.
Your little ones can grab one of the following: 2-piece chicken tenders, 4-piece chicken nuggets or a hamburger or cheeseburger.
As always, kiddos get their choice of Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries or apple bites, a drink and one of six exclusive Wendy’s Minions & Monsters Kids’ Meal toys.
The trinkets your little Minons will surely scuffle over: James, Henry, Ed, Richard, Goomi and Dort.
Lucky fans in Los Angeles waited in line for hours just to get a first taste of the new bites on Thursday, June 11.
The Wendy’s on East Imperial Highway in Norwalk, redesigned their drive-thru with an immersive, themed pop-up where temperatures reached almost 90.
Diners are squealing to get sip of the shake with one TikToker commenting: “I want the banana frostie so bad.”
“Banana frosty sounds yummy!!” Another commenter shouted.
The tasty treats come as Illumination’s newest Minions & Monsters movie hits theaters July 1.
Fans cans expect the classic, rowdy Minions — this time the story reveals how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, and released monsters onto the world.
But fear not, the crew will band together to save the planet from the inevitable chaos they created.
