Jason Tartick has handled out his final rose, and is officially an engaged man.
The former Bachelorette contestant, 37, announced on Monday, July 13, that he proposed to Kathryn Hurley less than one year after they went public with their romance.
“Right where we belong 💍,” Tartick captioned the joint Instagram post, sharing photos of the reality TV star down on one knee during the pair’s recent trip to Europe.
Bachelor Nation was quick to celebrate the happy news, including Blake Horstmann, whose wedding in Croatia in June seemingly lured the couple overseas. (Tartick and Hurley traveled to Croatia, Italy and France this summer, according to social media.)
“Yassss! Congrats you 2!!! Hard secret to keep 😂 love yall!!!” Horstmann, 37, wrote in the comments section. (Horstmann married Giannina Gibelli in a star-studded wedding in mid-June.)
Fellow Bachelorette alum Chris Bukowski added, “Let’s gooo! So happy for the both of you and here’s to many more chicken tenders pool side. ❤️.”
Molly Mesnick, who married Bachelor Jason Mesnick after a controversial season 13 After the Final Rose special, was also thrilled to see Tartick find The One.
“If there was a rightest of the most right things … this is it. You two are SO RIGHT for each other! Congrats!!!” she wrote in the comments section.
Tartick and Hurley’s engagement news comes eight months after Us Weekly exclusively confirmed in November 2025 that they were dating.
The pair met through Wags & Walks Nashville, where Tartick adopted his golden retriever Teddy earlier that year. (Hurley is the organization’s founder and a fellow dog lover.)
Tartick went public with the relationship in December 2025, sharing a birthday tribute to his newly-minted girlfriend.
“From the dogs you save every day to the people whose lives you change, you make everything around you more beautiful. Happy Birthday Kathryn!” he wrote via Instagram at the time.
In March, Tartick shed some light on his connection to Hurley, revealing he was sure she was the person he was meant to marry.
“Everything in my life is so clear,” Tartick shared during an episode of his “Trading Secrets” podcast. “I look into 2026, what I see is I see light. I see bliss. I see happiness.”
He predicted that the rest of the year would lead him to be in a “better place” and closer to what he wants out of life, including “to be married and have a family and have kids.”
When talking about being prepared to give up everything for the right partner, Tatrick teased that the time was now — and Hurley was his forever match.
“I feel very confident that I found that,” he added. “I would give it all up right now.”
Prior to Tartick’s relationship with Hurley he was engaged to former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. The pair announced their split in August 2023 after four years of dating.
