Let’s stop with the CM Punk hate.  Too much of the discourse this week was about Punk turning into The Rock and everything he hated in 2013 when the “Brahma Bull” swept in from Hollywood to beat him for the WWE championship and headline WrestleMania 29 to put over John Cena during a short run. It was his last until WrestleMania 40. The Rock was away from WWE for seven years before his return in 2011.  Still others — even MJF in a since-deleted Instagram post — pointed to Hulk Hogan getting Vince McMahon to call an audible and put…

Spoiler alert: He couldn’t. Twenty years…

A California city could soon make drive-thru dining a thing of the past. Culver City officials are considering a citywide ban on new drive-thrus after neighbors raised alarms over a proposed new In-N-Out they say could worsen traffic, hurt air quality and create dangers for pedestrians and cyclists, according to LAist. The City Council passed a 45-day moratorium in June blocking permits for new drive-thrus while staffers drafted a potential ban, the outlet reported. If approved, the ordinance would not affect the city’s eight existing drive-thrus — only new ones. The fight comes as In-N-Out eyes what would be Culver City’s…

Scientists have invented a soft robotic heart that could give them a new way to study a mysterious condition that accounts for roughly half of all heart failure cases. This form of heart failure, called heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF), is a condition in which the heart pumps out a normal amount of blood but becomes too stiff to relax and refill properly between beats.
