T-Mobile is hanging up on a popular perk, and customers are calling foul. This month, the phone giant announced it’s “retiring” over 1,100 older legacy payment plans — specifically, many from its 3G and 4G eras — and automatically switching customers to its higher-tier offerings in the T-Mobile Experience lineup beginning on July 13. Let’s stop with the CM Punk hate.  Too much of the discourse this week was about Punk turning into The Rock and everything he hated in 2013 when the “Brahma Bull” swept in from Hollywood to beat him for the WWE championship and headline WrestleMania 29 to put over John Cena during a short run. It was his last until WrestleMania 40. The Rock was away from WWE for seven years before his return in 2011.  Still others — even MJF in a since-deleted Instagram post — pointed to Hulk Hogan getting Vince McMahon to call an audible and put…

I was a sick kid — I’m talking genuinely, chronically ill. Mysterious symptoms kept me home from school and bouncing between specialists who spent most of my childhood trying — and failing — to figure out what was wrong. My mother, a lifelong fan of all things woo-woo, did what any desperate parent does: She looked elsewhere. That search took us to a barn in the middle of nowhere Oregon, where a white guy with dreadlocks, crystals and blinking light machines claimed he could heal even the toughest ailments without prescriptions or invasive procedures. Spoiler alert: He couldn’t. Twenty years…

A California city could soon make drive-thru dining a thing of the past. Culver City officials are considering a citywide ban on new drive-thrus after neighbors raised alarms over a proposed new In-N-Out they say could worsen traffic, hurt air quality and create dangers for pedestrians and cyclists, according to LAist. The City Council passed a 45-day moratorium in June blocking permits for new drive-thrus while staffers drafted a potential ban, the outlet reported. If approved, the ordinance would not affect the city’s eight existing drive-thrus — only new ones. The fight comes as In-N-Out eyes what would be Culver City’s…
